Broadsheet tends to be for the more intellectual people and the tabloid the more commonly brought one! they also open different ways! apart from that not much else?!

have seen this article it doesn't really get to the obvious facts but some information there.... peoples general opinion would be good so long as we leave page 3 out of it!!

says pretty much everything I can think of in the first paragraph, broadsheets tend to have longer articles about boring factual things, where tabloids often make stuff up / make stuff appear more interesting that it really is.

More recycling or less depending on which newspaper you buy.

My grandad liked the broadsheet as toilet roll :w00t:

its all about a different approach to presentation of information and prioritisation of what is newsworthy

tabloids seem to think celeb based stories are newsworthy for some reason

I got this question for media studies...

Broadsheet - More formal writing, More Formal stories and appeals mainly to the older generation. Breoadsheet used to be the larger paper (hint the name) However in recent times - Many broadsheet newspaper have made their papers smaller so they are easier to carry ertc - for example the times.

Tabloid - Writing is more informal and the stories tend to be about celebs or more light hearted stories. Appeals to the younger generation. Tabloids are also smaller than broadsheets.
