If you have an emoty milk disc, you can use that.
Buy some descaler, put it in the water container and use the empty disc to draw water through.
Do thsi twice, then leave for about 10 mins, then draw the rest through.
Once all the descaler has gone, rinse through with 2 containers full of fresh water.

If you have one of the latest Tassimo machines, the cleaning disc is behind the water container.

HTH :)

It may need descaling too, just get some stuff from Tesco about £1.50 for 3 packets otherwise it will clog up

Glad to hear!
What do you do with your empty pods jo?

You can send them to Terracycle who will then donate to charity and recycle them...

i run a charity called angels and monsters, so we recycle all the pods ( and anyone else who drops them off for us!) and put the cash to good use. its a great idea!

I just had a look at terracycle, I didn't realise you could recycle the actimel pots and other danone yoghurts, I'll save them and send them in from now on. Shame they don't offer any nespresso pod recycling.

Does anyone know what will clean the water container out. I left it sitting for too long with some water in it and it's now got green along the bottom of it and i'm not sure what to use in order to get rid of it. Thanks very much.

Soapy water and some elbow grease will get rid of it. Perhaps use a cotton bud to get along the edges...
