Have got a star and the day I met my beloved in roman numerals on my lower right arm. I have 9 chinese symbols on my left (family names), a stone-slate cross on my upper back, and a tribal pattern on my lower back. All on my facebook if anyone is bored and wants to see them. Search for Michael Helleur and look for tattoos in my photo albums

I got a butterfly/moth with a sort of pattern around it on my back (well, bottom of my neck really)
It's a good place to have one - you can cover it up or show it off. I wouldn't mind one on my wrist but it'd have to be something different. There'd be nothing worse than seeing your tattoo on a minger! (sorry, I hate that word)

I've got a little lizard on my tummy, a dragon on my lower back and a butterfly on the top of my left foot with my little boys name next to it. I agree with Cassie that you should always go for places you can cover up if you want to, i know one day i won't want to be collecting my pension with my wrinkly old tattoos on show! lol

I think my next one will either by on my wrist or shoulder. Up to you, the only downside i find with the dragon on my back it that i can't actually see it! Sounds wierd i know, but my other two i could describe and even draw you them exactly as i see them every day - i only catch a glimpse of the dragon every now and then in the mirror!

Know exactly what you mean!
sometimes I wish I'd had it done on my front lol.

Sounds cool, but when you say inside of your foot do you mean the bit you walk on? that would definately hurt like a biatch!

Don't forget to use some good cream to stop it drying out, if it does the colour is affected. I used bepanthen (nappy cream!) and it was wonderful! definately recommend it to all with new tattoos.

The women who did it gave me some 'tattoo gloo' which is a similar thing, which i have to apply twice a day.

Its more on the inside arch...

On my left arm I've got chinese writing which means Double Happiness ('cause of the kids) and just above my right boob I've got a blue rosebud. I love them both. I used vaseline on the first and E45 on the second.

i have my surname on my lower back BYRNE and when my little one was born i had them photocopy his feet and shrink the size and had them tattoo his feet on my hip as if going around to my back OWCH it hurt so i only had 2 sets done,

Will you have any more? Once i had my first done i was ready for the next! Definately go for one that really means something to you, like your new one here. Then you'll never regret it!

I recommend it to everyone i know! Used savlon on my first 2 and they suffered for it, definately more faded and can see where the scabs cracked whilst healing. That didn't happen at all with the nappy cream!

cool, ill give superdrug a visit!

I'd like to go for some others, just need to be sure first lol

I was chatting to the women whilst she was doing it, she said that the belly was the most painful place for a lady to get it done, and for a guy its the chest.

I don't have any tattoos, but if i did, I would have a rabbit tattooed on my head........

So when I get older and go bald, from a distance it will look like a hare!

Never had a tattoo and glad of it.
Considered having one in my teens, one of those celtic rose things on my arm (like a bracelet). Glad i didn't cos I've seen so many rough lookin birds showing them off in the summer!
They easily go out of fashion depending on what you have ... then they look dated and your stuck with them!
Suppose it's ok if it's hidden, but I just don't think a tattoo on a woman wearing a dress looks that feminine.
I still associate tattoos with bikers and sailors, will never have one!!!!
#24
I wouldn't get one ever cos I've been put off by my Mum cos ages back she had skin grafts done on them ,and the scarring is terrible. Took the skin from her thigh I think,to cover over the ones on arms.
Thats enough to put me off.

However these days removal a lot more effective like lasers etc.

justneo & juicyx, great site. Just found one I like but for the inside of my wrist! (was looking for ideas to make my back one alittle bigger). Will have to personalise it a bit though to make it mine.

Rep to both.
Thanks x
