Technika tv problems....

Am watching a dvd (built in dvd player) and occasionally the tv will turn the dvd off and instead will switch back to scart (there is no aerial in tv, just cable box connected via scart). I am confused as to why this is happening - the dvd I am watching is part of a series and its happened on several of the dvds in this series.

Any idea why this is happening?

Is the cable box on or off when this happens?

Could be its sending a signal which is auto switching the tv over to scart.

Is it the technika tv that was from Tesco at Christmastime - just under £200? Mine turns itself over to the channel it last came on at a couple of times a day. Just an irritating glitch... can't really be bothered to take it back yet, but it's never done it to a dvd, only to the freeview channels.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but about a year ago I bought a TV/DVD combo from Tesco's, & it was nothing but trouble. I got a refund in the end. Good luck though.

Nice annoying font and colour you've got going on there, but thanks for your first post to this once great forum

I have a hd 32" TV built in freeview and DVD built in. I can't watch freeview as it keeps switching itself over to DVD then back again to freeview then back again to DVD! It's driving me crazy! Any help please?

Simple solution, put the Freeview onto a channel that you enjoy so when it does jump over you can simply chill and watch what is on until it jumps back to the DVD. Oho don't forget to pause the DVD ever time it jumps to Freeview. :)
