Its not a shadow -its a jpeg file which is inside a container.

#container {
text-align: justify;
width: 780px;
margin-left: auto;
margin-right: auto;
background:url(http://nearhowe.co.uk/images/shbg.jpg) repeat-y;

Here it is below:
}

i really couldnt be bothered to check the files for the file name :lol:

basically its a jpg file (as above by guv) that is sat as the background,

remember in the html file to quote the following

add guv's post to the css file, and voila, also download the file ..... :p

Apart from the width size. The table being ised is 800. The container is 720. Just increas the width of the image itself in photoshop - or decrease the table size.

BTW - the ending } also needs to be included - not my quote though! :p

grrrrrrrrrr - so confusing.... all i want is a simple template based on this shadow effect, and I cant do it - its got be banging my head against the wall

Can I use the shadows effect, if im only using table (with editable regions), as opposed to a container/div?
