Please can you help a computer novice... since doing a Firefox upgrade my pc runs a lot slower in games, Facebook, etc.
Can anyone advise how I can either get rid of the upgrade or speed it up?

start control panel add/remove programs find it in the list uninstall
FF->tools->add-ons-> uninstall them all

cant see how the upgrade would slow it down though as doubt they would release it if it was dramatically slower

Thanks for the tips, i'd already done them and still no joy :(
It could be something called Pulgin-container.exe. A wonderful new idea from FF that handles all video, flash, shockwave etc plugs ins and is a right pain in the rear end. mine falls over daily because of it.

You could try updated all your abobe addon (flash, shockwave, ect) to the latest versions that seems to help (a little)...
