TEFL - Anybody here done it or considering it????

I'm thinking about doing TEFL. I've been having a look around and trying to see which one's best. SO far the main one's Ive noticed are:

I'm thinking of doing a weekend course and I heard you can get a deal which lets you do a basic course for about £80 (usually about £200) and thought I'd ask on here to find out what it's like if anybody's done it.

my friend spend a while doing it and is now doing her second stint out in asia.... i would recommend more than a basic course... teaching isnt easy.
