I ordered my shopping from Tescos which got delivered before, and first off they didnt take my meal deal prices off which was £6 so I called them to which they said they would refund, so that was fine, then putting the shopping away they had not delivered about 10 items so I called them to which she said I could have a refund, and the items still and they would get delivered in the morning, then she said the computer would not let her book a delivery slot so she would give me a refund, which I did not want as I wanted the items, she said she would call the driver, and he reckons the items that was missing are not in the van, so she was trying to make out I was lying, so I complained more she called the store manager and now I am getting them delivered tomorrow at haven't a clue what time, grrrrr they make so mad, and I am sorry about the big mad rant, but just had to get it out.

I always add a few extra items as too near the use by date or as being squashed or unfit for consumption, when I have to call customer services. There's plenty of weeks I don't call when I should, but when I am riled then I want them to pay.

Good on you for sticking to your guns!

Oh and sometimes goods get mixed up between deliveries - have you ever had any extra items delivered~?

Asda are worse! They c*** up your order, miss things out, then when they re-deliver, they get completely the different thing or brand or amount (I'd ordered smartprice chicken and it was like 250g, and they charged me the same and replaced it with a smaller amount of chicken, I was peed off!) Also it takes them ages to refund.
Also the one time they charged me extra to what they had "pending" on my bank account so I ended up with a bank charge of £35.00 and an overdraft charge of £28.00. They still haven't paid it back and that was from december!

I always phone and say what is missing - you should never pay for what you haven't received. Personally I have always found customer services very helpful.

I take it you mean £26 worth is missing..... surely it's not this weeks shop cost?

Mine came to £150 this week :(

No butterflies that is the missing stuff, my shop was £140

Ahh well that is an awful lot of missing stuff!

I mean imagine if one bottle of wine and a beef joint went missing - that could cost alot in itself... just slipping into the previous delivery. Maybe an innocent accident in the delivery process but you shouldn't have to pay for it

Never use the home delivery after some of the stories I heard in the ASDA where I work, baked beans being substituted with broad beans, Cauliflower instead of potatoes, Drivers stealing drink but it works both ways too heard about customers phoning up saying that the never got their bottles of spirits and getting a free one sent out or alot of people ordering certain lines like smart price vodka which flys off the shelves so never any left for home shopping so it gets substituted for the next best vodka.

My mom actually received a load of stuff that wasn't hers and missing some of hers, so she rang up and complained and said that there was loads of stuff not hers and could they collect it when they drop her stuff off, and they said keep it!

Yeh they not bothered really,we have had plenty of stuff that belonged to others, same thing as odd bag gone missing which someone else has had obviously.
I've stopped reporting anything extra now as they don't care and just let you keep anyway.
Hope for something really worthwhile as freebie!

We rarely have anything missing, in the few years that we have been getting the shopping weekly I think it has happened twice (both with asda, which is why we dont bother with them any more!).

I go through the receipt and tick everything off though because I know it does happen. We used to get extra stuff all of the time, but doesnt seem to happen any more (maybe because we mainly use sainsburys now rather than tesco, who seem to add stuff).

Weirdest extra stuff - a bag containing 6 packs of kerry gold butter and another bag with 7 lots of bananas - both on one shop. Few other items in the bags as well. We ended up knocking on the neighbours doors with bananas!

Best extra thing - a £40 bottle of champagne!

I think the best extra that we had was a piece of beef worth about £15. There was loads in with my mom's on the one shop- like crisps and treats for kids so her step-daughters scoffed them all!

Funnily enough, of all the stuff we have had over the years, we have only had fish once, and meat once (2 packs of frozen meat and potato pies). Interesting considering we are all vegetarian

The best part of the shopping being delivered used to be finding the free stuff for that week! Its just not the same now we shop with sainsburys, they are just too good! Hardly ever have anything to complain about

I LOL'd!!!! It is good finding a freebie from Asda, but I don't get them anymore (it was ages and ages ago), I just get stuff going missing. And I would stop shopping with them but I can't afford not to as they're the cheapest around :x

I suffer panic attacks, sometimes I will brave the shops but it's rare. I know I'm supposed to fight it head on, but I have good days and bad weeks lol.
