The other day I exchanged £100 of clubcard vouchers for double points, thinking how blooming great that was, and they will be posted to me. Today I discover to my horror that from the 7th of Dec they will be worth QUADRUPLE!!.
So I log into my Tesco account and try to cancel the order, and when I click on cancel the web page says cannot load etc etc.
I'm pretty sure this is deliberate sabotage by Tesco!!, because they know that alot of people willt try and cancel.
I called up customer service, and after 30 mins get through to two of the most horrible, arrogant, uneducated women in existance. First they said oh 'you can't cancel the order', then they said' oh you can if you call back on this date I will give you the customer service email address' to which I said 'so you can only give the customer service email address on certain days of the year?'
I then told her I was recording the phone call, and the wench became more helpful. Saying that she had emailed the appropriate team to action a cancellation. I took her name to Emma, when I asked for her surname she said she could give me a number, 2664!!, what a charming name.
I also emailed customer service through the website, who know's whether anyone will get back to me.
Not happy with the dirty tricks that Tesco have used 'hurry exchange before 6th decemeber to get double points', and neglecting to tell you after that it will be quadruple.
