Hi, I was going to buy the nokia c3 for £59.97 from tesco direct and collect in store but the collection date says the 29th and i need it for christmas. I phoned my local store to find out if they were in stock so i could just go in and pick one up and they said yes but it's £79.99. What i want to know is because they're in stock in store could i still buy it online although the collection date says the 29th and just go in today and pick one up or does it have to be the specified date? Thanks for any help.

instore its 59.99 if you buy £40 of groceries at the same time, alternatively you could get it in an orange store or an hmv for 59.99-you need to topup by ten quid, but it comes in a lovely giftbox with a free watch(they say the watch is worth £70 btw,but it probably isnt)

Hi Barky, thanks for your reply. I was hoping to get it on the tesco network. Do you know if there is a free unlock for it?

If you buy it from phones4u or carphone warehouse (on any network, preferably the cheapest!), the phone will already come unlocked - sure they are selling them for £49.99 + £10 top up.

Hi Pr3cious18, Thanks for your reply. I'll have a look on there now to see if they'll deliver in time for christmas.

Your best bet is to pick one up at your local store - therefore you would be guaranteed to have it before Xmas. I usually give the store a ring and they'll put one aside for you until you arrive (as long as its within an hour though!).

Thanks for your help. My dad's buying it for my mum and he's getting me to do some last minute shopping for him. I'll tell him to give carphone warehouse a ring. Thanks :-)

why don't you just buy £40 worth of groceries like Barky suggested, it's not as if they are not going to be had over Christmas.

hi, if youre going for the £10 a month Tesco sim, 500 mins, unltd txts and untld data, 30 day contract then that still counts as a contract so you get £20 off anyway , no need to buy the £40 of groceries, i know this cos i did it last night.......

Just checked for you... Carphone Warehouse is £59.99 + £10 top up, while Phones 4 u are £49.99 + £10 top up: http://www.phones4u.co.uk/shop/shop_payg_details.asp?ItemKey=424408&MPItemKey=434745 - they both provide sim free phones for any network you buy it on + if he's already on PAYG and had his number longer than 6mths they will do it as an upgrade so he won't need to buy the extra top up, making it just £49.99 (Phones 4 u).
