If anyone is thinking about any ideas for getting points onto there clubcard, here is one idea me and my friend have done.

1. Went on Ebay and bought around 5 old mobiles that i know work from a seller, cost £45-50.
2. Send off the mobiles to Tesco for green bonus points (xtronics),
3. Tesco look at mobiles and see there working and add 500 points on for each mobile.
4. Wahey the 5 mobiles i bought which were sent off to Tesco for £50 has earned me 2500 green points.
5. I shall now turn my points into Deal tokens 2500 x 4 (or any deal) for Jewelry and what £50 has cost me now has given me £100 for a nice piece of Gold

Now is that what i call great or what ! :w00t: :w00t: :w00t:

Dont know whether this should be in the deals section or not, if it is can a mod please move it, thanks very much.

Saxo.

Thanks for the reply (I missed it first time round and was about to PM you when I remembered this thread!!)

Basically i've just seen you can get 100 points per ink cartridge and I must have about 8 lying around and 4 every month.

How much does the club card points work out in air miles for example?

I have a water damaged k750i, the phone works fine but the camera isn't.

Is it worth more trying to sell or just recycle?
#10
What happens is Tesco re-furbish the phones and sell them off to 3rd world countries so yes send them off.

The ink cartridges are fine to send in as long as there not epson and one other, think we dont accept them as there is a metal strip in the (i think)

£2.50 of vouchers = 60 airmiles
You either send off the vouchers to Airmiles deals or you buy the tokens on line.

Thanks saxo, Its a shame they don't do points for Epsons, I'll recycle them anyway though! :)

I posted a new tip. It looks as if the points are dropping to 300 for tesco phone recycling. Try and get the in-store envelopes, which say 500.

Is there a limit to the amount of mobiles you can send to tesco and gain points , its just I have sent about 4 before for the points, then when I did it again I wasnt given any points........ so I think there may be a limit to amount you can send for points!!!..... does anybody know this???
