Tesco entertainment trying to talk money from my account

Preordered toy story 3 from Tesco after the deal was listed on here, they delivered it a couple of days before release date, received an email on the 27 th of dec to say that they were unable to take the payment. Has anybody else receive this email, or had this before. I'm sure someone has as were talking Tesco entertainment after all.
The original email didn't state what the order was so we have been in contact, so we could rule out credit card fraud, that's when we found out it was toy story 3, they have just called to say they have sent an email with directions to complete the payment. I said that we will double check our bank accounts before preceding. Anybody else had this before?

They delivered toy story3 blu ray but never took the payment, they are now seeking payment, but before I pay I need to check my bank account. Does that help?

Ok. I just couldn't work out what (apart from has anyone else had this problem) you were trying to achieve.

Surely all you would need to do is check your statement and if you have not paid then it will quite rightly be taken.

Yes I had this, I lost my bank card so cancelled it and got a new one. When Id placed the order with Tesco it was with my old one so when Tesco sent my order and tried to take the money it didn't go through. I got an email like yours and I updated my card details and they took the payment.
Are you sure you had enough money in the bank etc... when they tried to take the money? Either way just check your bank statement and pay if needed.

I moved house between placing the order and the movie release date, so our bank details were for the new house. We still owned the old property so it got delivered there. I imagine because the bank details didn't match they couldn't access my account. I'm just think should they have sent it when they were unable to obtain the payment?
