There is an MSE thread o nthis and there are lots of arguments about who was in the right/wrong. On the one hand some people were only buying stuff they knew to be mispriced on the other Tesco knew they were overcharging people but did not correct their error. They just went on overcharging people....

Lol, From a free x-box to £4.32 bit of a difference

That is the problem when people take advantage of something like that - it costs other people who may be genuinely overcharged

I am surprised Tesco even brought out this deal in the first place. If I were a director of a company I would not have authorised it, yes refund a generous portion to show our support towards our customers but giving the items for free + the difference back in cash is a little silly.

It was only a matter of time before they got hit with a big one. Good on the people who got a free 360 out of it (and a pint). As said earlier it was Tescos policy in the first place so I do not have any sympathy for them in any way, shape, or form whatsoever.

good luck to them but i cant believe they honoured it .I agree with kelly in one aspect as i have been overcharged lots and when i have gone to get refund at customer services i have only ever got a refund not item plus refund sso it seems it depends on who you get and how insistent you are on your rights .I am always in a hurry to get shopping home so cant be bothered to quibble on the refund policy .
