Tesco Grocery Vouchers

Every time I see vouchers here I 'bank' them. If I do my shop in one go and then check-out everything works OK and I get the value of the vouchers taken off my order.

However, if, after check-out, I go back in and change my order I still get my delivary but the act of changing my order means my vouchers no longer count for some reason.

Has anyone else noticed this problem and is there any way I can avoid it?

Thanks!

Could it maybe because in changing your order (for eg, removing something from the order) that you are bringing it down to below the min spend for the voucher?

Not sure but I've had a few that have been accepted online yet when the delivery arrives the small print says they have been removed, so watch out for that.

What do people mean by "banking" them. Do they mean they just write them down?

i know its not the same-but anyone work out how to give non tesco vouchers with the shop on line-i had loads of vouchers for washing powder, coffee money off-but can't work out how to use them on-line.

It means doing a pretend shop (e.g. fill your basket with loads of champagne) to get over the minimum spend, go to the checkout and add the voucher(s) to your account. Then empty your basket and the codes will be saved in your account until next time you do a proper order

No - when I change my orders I just add to the value - never take away.

I always start my order early so I can reserve my slot and then add to the order as I realise what we want/need.
