Tesco Grocery website

Anyone noticed that you can now price check Tesco products with Ocado prices on the Tesco grocery website? Frankly thats about as fair as comparing Lidl and Aldi prices with M&S. Ocado products are better quality than Tesco, so any comparison is rather pointless. Surely Tesco should be offering comparisons with the likes of Asda and Morrisons, and not trying to mislead customers thatr they are getting a good deal? The distinct lack of Tesco grocery voucher codes this Xmas is enough evidence theres better deals elsewhere.

I'm actually leaning more towards Ocado. I get an e mail from them every single week without fail offering me discount codes for at least £1 per item on about 5 different items per week (most of which I'd actually buy anyway) and on top of that, I always get given a code for either £10 off a £70 shop, or if it's not that offer it's 10% off my shopping up to £100. As they've also reduced an awful lot of their prices to match major supermarkets and have also recently launched their own lower priced range, I'm certainly going to make use of all the money off offers they seem to throw at me each week and see how I go with them

They only send you them because its been a while since you last shopped with them, the longer it is, the better the offer. Once you shop with them once you will stop getting these. Will still get the £1 off type ones though.

If you do the shopping on mysupermarket you can see where it is cheapest from, and its an impartial website

I get this email with £5 or so off EVERY week. Once in a blue moon I also get an email for £10 off a £85 shop - and can use all these vouchers.
Add the fact that delivery is free or 99p at the time I want - evenings after 8pm - then I think its cheaper than Tescos. Certainly the website is fantastically quicker.

This morning I got my usual weekly email - a unique code for £1 of a bag of spuds, £2 off a chicken, £1 off milk £1 off cheese. £5 off my shop.
It's no coincidence that these are items I buy every week - they entice me with coupons I'm gonna use.
