Tesco pays cashback on a cancelled order!

Bought COD black ops on release from Tesco and got £3.50 cashback (TCB) tracked and paid even though I cancelled the order.

Is it normal for that to happen, or one just slipped through the net?

I got about £7 cashback on a tumble dryer that Comet cancelled. I think it's fairly normal. Obviously, continued abuse of it will see your account closed

are you talking about the TCB account? I wasn't really expecting to get the cashback, I thought Tesco should have cancelled it from thie side, and not really my responsibility to correct retailers mistakes, no?

TCB and Quidco. Note the 'continued abuse' Deliberately ordering goods and cancelling just to get the cashback.

The one or two genuine cancellations will be OK

I never intentionally ordered and cancelled to get the cashback, I just found the game at a better price elsewhere after I ordered and I expected the cashback to be cancelled.

It seems common enough though, thanks for comments
