hi,

ive got some tesco vouchers for extra points when certain items bought, or money of etc.

Do you have to buy the items stated on the vouchers to use them, or can you use them with any shopping.

thanks

:)

It might sound a fairly daft question to some, but i know where you are coming from,as some stores accept vouchers for certain products for any shopping.Unfortunately Tesco vouchers are only for the product stated on the voucher.HTH.

If on a voucher it states a certain store, then can only be used there. :)

tesco are clamping down on all vouchers apparently. they will only take a total of one voucher if you dont buy the product. and one per item if you have bought it. BUT they seem to work if you go through the self check out! just dont use more than 2 of each type as then the machine needs human intervention!

All the tesco self service checkouts in my area now have the coupon slots taped up with a sign saying please see assistant to manually enter the coupons in slot. This could be to ensure exactly what you are saying.

Yes Tesco vouchers can only be used as stated.

They take most other vouchers though. Sometimes the Daily Mail does money off vouchers for magazines (between £1 and 2.70 each) . Mine have taken all of them deducting over £10 some weeks. They also take some Sainsbury vouchers.

They dont take 2 the same.

I find that if you go to a younger member of staff (especially on a busy day), they just scan them all.

yes - it was the manufacturers coupons that they have now told me they will only take a total of one of (for the whole shop - not the individual coupon) unless you buy the product :(

Hi everybody! I am after some help / advice with regards to Tesco's clubcard points / vouchers.

Have been using Tesco's online for a while, mainly due to the voucher offers that appear here.

However - I am getting a little confused with regards to the reward clubpoints.

Sometimes I read that 1000points is worth £10, but then I see some people say that it is worth £40 on 'Tesco Deals'.

What does this mean????

Thanks in advance!!!!

Tesco Deals are worth 4X more than Tesco Vouchers.

Do a search for Tesco deals, then it should open the door for you!
