Tescos Direct orders
Having been involved in some of the recent buying at heavily discounted prices on Tesco Direct in the last 24 hours, I thought that I would post something so that rather than checking each of the separate posts in the "Deals" section to see what the status of the orders are (mine are still at the "created stage") everything is in one place. By the way does anyone expect to get any of the things that they have ordered (I am slightly hopeful, but having read other posts my confidence is waning)?

Jump to unread Post a CommentMy second order was the infamous James Bond Scalextric set. I bought one of these, just for me. I'm a mad fan of Aston Martin and I'm currently doing the big DB5 partwork model. I've also wanted a Scalextric set since I was a nipper, but being a girl I was denied such delights! (Although my folks did give in when I pestered for Transformers! :D ) I thought it was worth a try as some people had success with the Karcher a couple of weeks ago. That too is sitting at "Created". I can't say I'm that hopeful on this one, but you have to be in it to win it, apparently!
Both orders should be available from King's Lynn's big Tesco tomorrow after 4pm. We shall see.
Now I've written all that I've pretty much fated myself and will get cancellation e-mails within minutes of posting, you watch!
if you go to tesco direct , click on "my account" at the top of the page, then click on your tesco direct orders it shows what status your order is currently in. "Created" shows next to our orders, which isnt as reassuring as "sent" (time to cross fingers and hope it goes through)

ordered 2,were due into store at 4,but they are not there :(
did 4 separate orders (for other things) only 1 cancelled so far
store said there was a delay,but my orders are still going through
i reckon there will be a follow up cancellation phone call 2moro :(
I put in 2 orders 2 days ago. Both for collection from store. Both orders accepted and money taken.
Email said I was given a delivery time to collect as today 16:00.
Just been and told that the items were out of stock at the time of the order but that due to the website not being updated the order went through.
Tesco have had my money for 2 days. They cancelled the order today when I went to collect. I checked instore to see if the item was in fact out of stock. The shelves were full with the same item at double the price.
Tesco say that the money should be back in my account between 3-5 business days.
I GUESS THATS WHAT THEY MEAN WHEN THEY SAY EVERY LITTLE HELPS

There was a program in the early hours on Beeb 2 a while back explaining exactly how they decipher clubcards; was eery.
