Now gotta spend 20 minutes reconciling it all lol

yep-I know its a hassle, but its actually a result cos you are entitled to double the difference back
#5
Yes worked in your favour, time to screw them
#6
was wondering did you use a clubcard (did you create a new account and forget to put one in?) #
sometimes i go shopping and forget to give them my card, but when i do, the balance drops (are some offers only available to clubcard holders?)
#7
the dtd is now capped at £20...

check to see if the BOGOF offers are still available, some stuff i ordered last time was on offer until the monday(i placed the order the friday before), my delivery was on the tuesday and the offers had ended so i didn't get the free ones etc

as for the double the difference, he's talking about BOGOF offers not price comparing with asda so it wont count?

Yes so if you have lost out on more than £20 dont do dtd

as Luke said above its most likely the offers have ended.

Nope - all the offers are still on so the till just ignored ALL the multibuys and BOGOFS

nothing to do with DTD as total savings on the bill were zero when most of my items were BOGOFS

This could be a common problem so check your online receipts from today.
#12
I was going to say the same as post #8.

The last time I used Tesco there were little red flags next to the items, I believe you have to click on each one to see if they will apply to the date your shopping is delivered.. Where as the last time Id used Tescos (prior to the red flags), it would alert me at the end (just before payment) if the items would still be on offer.
I rarely use Tescos.. and probably will use them even less now, not a fan of the red flag thingy!

But still work out how much they have overcharged you with the till not honouring the bogofs and whatever the total is then they should refund you double that

I only placed the order last night and delivery was 9am today. All the offers have dates into late April and still show now.

Its a complete balls up basically but just started this thread for others so they check their receipts.

Really? Should they refund double on online overcharges? Could end up with a free order lol as bill was £95 and should have been about £55

it alerted me last night of the one deal that was ending:-

squash £1.30 each or 2 for £2.75

I was glad the offer was ending as 15p cheaper individually lol

Make sure you tell them you want dtd back, as they wont do it automatically, you have to remind them if there policy !!! and even tell them a porkie that you only had £100 in the bank , they have taken £95 when it should of been £55 therefore leaving you with no money for petrol etc ,

UPDATE email from tescos

I can confirm that I spoke to the Home Shopping Manager in our West Durrington Extra Store this morning and they advised me that there was system problems on the 6th of April and all the customers were charged for the special offers. This error has now been resolved.

they refunded £42 so a nice result in the end although not quite double the misprices back.

Will check later cheers Csiman, customer service usually is spot on though.

Email them back reminding them of the double the difference policy !! .........and not forgetting 'being overdrawn at bank ' (_;)..........two bottles of wine on my tesco order were damaged on delivery last week , i got an email saying a refund for the wine had been given also an additional £10 to say sorry for the inconvenience , ........and that was without complaining/ asking :D
