So you took your chance and placed your order on the Vodafone website using an obvious glitch posted in deals....
..

So how did you fair?

Shiny new phone on the way, or solicitors threat letter?

Please use this thread to discuss your purchase/rejection.

I can't help thinking it'll all end in tears!

It's a long suspense, No despatch email yet, passed the credit checks, But they've not cancelled yet.

I didn't even try, I already have an iPhone 3GS and could have been tempted by the Iphone 4 if it wasn't for an obvious glitch that Vodafone will no doubt spot with the sheer volume of orders.

Personally I hope Vodafone do honour these but I think it's more likely they will honour a very small percentage and cancel the rest.

We all know that the majority of people will put the phone up for sale to make profit and with the line rental being £0pcm Vodafone won't be giving a subsidised handset worth £500 for £130 to ever person that orders.

Good luck to those of you that decided to 'order'.

Shame my HMV XBL & COD Tshirt was cancelled yesterday courtesy of HMV blatantly putting a mispriced product on their site to attract people.

Collected from store? That was lucky! How did they manage that? But in any case, what heppens with the £40pm direct debit vice the £10 they were expecting?

The hit from this was far too big to allow it to have happened.

Yeah, somone has just picked one up from the Vodafone store just up the road from me in Tamworth - they got a Nokia N8, Sure Signal and Sim pack. I really don't know where they stand though - surely Vodafone have formed a contract for the handset itself by sending it, but not for the actual contract until they activate the sim or take the first Direct Debit.

They might be left with no contract and a free N8 !! Lucky they got the Sure Signal though - the reception around here on Vodafone is shocking X)
