The australian pink floyd show-anyone seen this?any good?

Thinking of getting tickets for the glasgow show-apparently,despite being a "tribute act",this band have just sold out 40 STADIUM shows in america!

So are they that good? There is a review in todays sunday papers saying they are "better than the real thing"-surely not?

lucky you barky, I'd jump at the chance as i think this is close as i'd get to the real thing. To see Pink Floyd live is one of my top 10 things to do before i die.

It's a fantastic show. Not as good as the real thing, but as you have no chance of seeing the real thing these are the next best and well worth it.

Yeah i saw Roger Waters was doing the Wall tour, how do you manage to secure tickets for Floyd, they all seem to go as soon as word is out they are on sale, the other band I want to see is AC/DC !!

when they did the pulse tour,I worked in a record shop which was also a ticket agency so we blagged tickets before they went on sale. live8 we were lucky in the text message ballot, after sending about 50 texts-lol.

saw acdc years ago (in the bon scott days) at glasgow apollo and last year at hampden-they are a great live act,but strangely,I dont have any of their albums and wouldnt listen in the house, but live they are excellent.

roger waters has said he will use all the new technology available for the new wall tour and I will certainly be going to that-he is 66 now so probs the last tour ever methinks. still live in hope that floyd may do one more tour,or a few one offs in london.

I've seen Off The Wall, the only tribute to Pink Floyd that Floyd themselves endorse. They were fantastic, had the circular projector screen and all the lights ex wot lasers. Sounded 'note perfect'..
You could close your wyes and think you were at a floyd show, then open them and still think you were at a floyd show. I recommend them if they play near you.

Nick Mason is quoted as saying that these are BETTER than Pink Floyd.

I saw AC/DC last year - PHENOMENAL! It was on my list of things to do before I die (or, to be frank before they die) and OH MY GOD. They were amazing. They are far better live than in the studio (Although I'd have rather seen them 10-20 years ago, but clearly not possible - They still rock at their age!)

Very, very cool! The loudest band I've seen (very surprisingly) was Nickelback... Having been to see the likes of AC/DC and Metallica, I found it rather surprising lol. They were good too (another shock).
