At £830,000, the Bugatti Veyron is the most expensive car in the world. But one driver found a similar one a bit too much to handle. Travelling at a speed thought to be 100mph in a 40mph area, the motorist was involved in possibly the world's costliest road crash. The supercar clipped a Vauxhall Astra before crashing into trees on a roadside bank. According to reports, the luxury motor is owned by businessman Kumar Soni. Mr Soni and his younger brother Ajay were in the car at the time of the accident. The two and their 64-year-old father run a number of car hire and property companies. A man, believed to be Mr Soni Snr, later arrived at the scene. One witness said he was shouting and screaming at the men in the supercar. The vehicle is one of only about 12 in Britain. After berating the brothers, he drove off, leaving the pair to walk home in the rain. The 1,000 horsepower Bugatti has a top speed of over 250mph and can do 0-60mph in 2.5 seconds. The incident happened in heavy rain at around 3pm on Sunday on a 40mph section of the B375 near Chertsey in Surrey. It is not yet known if the car is a write-off. A police spokesman said: "Officers are investigating whether the man behind the wheel was driving without due care and attention."
You've gotta love that shouting and screaming bit!
