Right, we are now in full flow of 2009. The credit crunch is amongst us, people loosing their jobs left, right and centre, money seeming simply to disappear before being spent and to top it all off, we all got snowed in! (OK, the latter was quite nice). Not the greatest way to continue the year by any means. I plan to make a change, and make a change I will, but I need your help. Everyone likes the heart-warming stories they add at the end of the news. It is a way lighting up the mood after hearing all the rubbish that seems to be going on and its nice to hear that there can be a light at the end of the tunnel. I plan to be one of them nice stories. After hearing the story of the paper clip swap, which eventually got swapped for a house, I am setting out to do the same, with you guessed it, baked beans.
Basically I have for swap a lovely shiny brand new tin of Heinz baked beans, purchased from Sainsburys last week and looked after very well and in perfect condition. Expiry dated 05-2010. Out of the kindness of your heart, I ask anyone to make me an offer to swap anything with my baked beans; only condition being the item you are offering for swap must be of higher value than the current item in my possession. It may be as little or as much above the value of the item as you like (i.e. it may be swapped with something a few pence over the value of the beans or as large a value as your generosity decides). After completing the swap, I will then look to continue swapping until who knows where it will lead. Anyone who I complete a swap with will be acknowledged (unless wanting to remain anonymous) to the list of people who helped me achieve whatever I end up with and will become part of the story. Let the swapping commence.
