tomtom is a stupid answer, its not even close to being the most expensive.

the most expensive generally are specialist apps for specific trades etc.

so you can whip your iPhone out to show off your dead expensive apps for which you have little or no use for and resulting in a mugging for your phone?

brilliant plan........

I have absolutely no need to waste around £1000 of my hard earned given that my employer provides me with a fully expensed mobile phone and I have a 2nd Gen 32GB touch.

And if I did have an iPhone, I certainly wouldn't be looking for and filling it with the most expensive apps for no reason other than to say "look at this, it cost me a gazillion quid and does diddly squat for me"

Have you ever seen a medical app?, the majority are as dull as ditchwater, most are complex maths algorithms to calculate things like risk and meds dosage levels or listing contraindications for use in certain patients with certain drugs.
Cool is not a word I would use at all about them.

I forgot that owning an iPhone propells you straight into the cream of society

I have explained my reasons for not owning an iPhone

And given that I own a touch and many of the apps are similar then I think I am well placed to comment - that and the fact it's an open forum
