Hi there HUKD, long time lurker, first time poster here! I hope someone can help me.

I've noticed three have changed there great "3Pay" tariff to the crappier "PAYG on Three"! What I want to know is If i buy an unregistered 3Pay sim, what tariff will I be on?

I need to get on the 3pay tariff, is it at all possible for me to do this now?

Thanks,
Balls

I have probably got a 3pay one upstairs if you are interested. What is the difference between them?

Yes I am interested if the sim is still active and on 3Pay! 3Pay is just better than there new tariff which sucks imho!

I look forward to hearing from you!

Yes I've got one, it says for 3g phones, brand new never been out of envelope. send me your details if you want it? it say free texts and internet plus free 3 to 3 calls, for which I use mostly on mine.

Thanks for the generosity! Do you know if the sim has been activated at all? If it hasn't then I assume as soon as it is activated that it would go onto the new "PAYG on 3" tariff rather than the older "3Pay" tariff!

Can anyone else confirm this?

Thanks

Hi, I had the same problem. Just bought the sony ericsson cedar from 3 store in wellingborough yesterday and chose not to use the sim with it as I had a 3pay sim i hadnt used at home. When I activated it it was on the new crap tarriff, so I phoned 3 customer services and stated that as the 3pay tarriff was detailed with the sim I had used, that was the tarriff I wanted. Within 2 minutes they agreed to make it so that the next time I topped up, the tarriff would revert to the 3pay one. I also recieved an sms alert immediately after the call saying that this was the case.

I can confirm the above worked, I got a 75p sim from b&m (had to ratch for it as the shelves had the new ones) and after a quick phonecall was back on the old (good) tariff!

does anyone know if I can keep my 3pay tariff by swapping the 3pay sim into a new phone?

As long as its a 3g phone and unlocked shouldn't be a problem. move mine from blackberry to my daughters old phone and back still works.

Can someone please explain, why is the older 3pay tariff much better than the new pay as you go on three tariff? I have 2 sims still on 3pay but, as far as I can see, this older tariff is more costly, not least because you can't add an all you can eat data add-on. Could someone please clarify?
