Would it be more rare to have the vinyl?

Yes
I think the 12" of this is worth a pretty penny
I used to collect rare vinyl; still have some choice gems; but was forced to sell a load a good few years back (student type days - you know the story). But I still miss the vinyl. I thought CDs were naff but MP3s are the pits. I kinda miss coming back on the bus or train from Manchester with a few albums / 12" singles that I picked up cheap and reading all the sleeve notes and/or booklets that came with them. I guess anyone under 30 will think I'm a sad old git but I loved the substance and beauty of vinyl that you don't get so much with CDs and you don't get at all with MP3s

thats what i was thinking is it not just a bog standard cd?

Nope - this was (sold now) the remixes Cd single with loads of versions on it (track listing above). They have some standard copies from merchants still; but check out the collectable price - which is what this was. I aint seen this under £30 for, well, ever.Them £4 ish prices wont be this, they'll be the bog standard single
I am pretty sure this is the one which is selling for £52.02 + postage / £39.99 + postage (if Amazons track listing is correct)

I remember getting most of my Wishbone Ash vinyl from those couple of shops on Oldham Street.

Yeah, great buzz when you're flicking through the 'w's and you see one that you haven't got.

I know what you mean by having the actual object there it's more sentimental than having an mp3/digital file, Im only 23 and i know what you mean by the Good old days going out and buying that great thing you wanted and treasure it. Those days are gone which is quite disappointing.

Ditto Deek
I could spend hours looking through everything
My fave bit was looking through the "bargain section" and finding a rare record / deleted record and trying to[B] hide my utter excitement before I bought it in case the shop asistant said "Oh that shouldn't be in there". I picked up a John Lennon / Plastic Ono Band 1st pressing for 99p once. But my best buy is locked away and hidden - only played once (to tape it) and that was a very rare Beatles record

Oh poooo I should have PMd you. Its sold now.
If I spot anything like that again d'ya want a PM?

EDIT - satus changed to "Usually dispatched within 6 to 11 days" so may be worth a punt
If they send the bog standard 2 track CD single you can always shout loudly at them and send it back I suppose

Think this is when a load of early teens woke up to the mightiness of The Smiths
Not seen anything like this on TOTP before
So, a load of us are watching it and thinking, "Wow; and to think I was listening to Duran Duran; now THIS is music"
Ok, I was never a Durany but I never hated them either. I loved my New Romantic;but this was deffo a shift (for mainstream at least)
IE I was already getting down to The Cramps but I'm pretty sure they would not let Lux Interior near the BBC studios
