doesn't matter i missed it by 20p (I wasn't willing to pay any more than a fiver considering it hadnt been tested..)

I'm hopefully getting his asian mega drive though, those things are defo region-unlocked and i think they look slightly cooler lol - with the bigger 16-BIT logo (a mega drive fan at hear), missed it as it was an impulse buy so didn't want to pay too much

Ah, fond memories of Sonic The Hedgog for SMS (pretty underated really as its an execellent but awfully easy game - bar the last 2 levels lol)

Just bought a boxed copy of StarWing/Starfox for SNES without manual for £3.49 delivered.

Pretty decent deal if you ask me.

to be honest 9/10 of it is crap. Its not a good idea to look back on games from yester year when I've accustomed to excellent graphics, responsive control and decent collision detection. Getting a snes and megadrive emulator was so disappointing.
some things with a few exceptions are just best left in the past.

Streets of Rage 2 and Goldeneye are still better than most of the tosh i seem to play now, and those i have regularly played in the last few months :-)

Where's the cheapest place to get MegaDrive cables from timothyw9? I found my megadriveII in the attic the other day, not leads though :-(

Out of interest anybody watch the Angry Video Game Nerd? he's awesome

If this were youtube I would start an argument,

however it varies from people to people, some people can see beyond the pixelly graphics and some can't.

I think the music in the first one was slightly better tho.. Same with mortal kombat, 2nd is the better game but music isn't as good..

I totally can, mario kart on the snes, the aforementioned streets of rage 2 and 1, ea hockey on the megadrive is still the best hockey game out no matter how realistic ea sports can make some canadian look on an ice rink on the 360, as for platformers mario on pretty much anything and sonic beofre all that 3d nonsense are still up there, oh and bomberman is always worth a play but the vast vast majority of games from that are are now pants.

I remember playin golden axe religiosly on the megadrive and couldn't wait when I got the megadrive collection on the 360. I wish I hadn't bothered, the collision detection made it almost unplayable. Some things are just best left in the past.

just bought a NES with duck hunt and but no wires for £11.50 delivered. (i best offered)

I already have an actual NES power supply (I bought it for my SNES, they are exactly the same adapter) so I don't really need one tha much atm anyway. (There's no spare sockets where its plugeed in so it don't make a scrap of difference)

I can get a NES controller for £3.50 posted so I now officialy have a console I've been wanting for far too long!
Just bought the NES controller too

Can't wait lol
