ha, i am not posting a picture for people to tear her apart as everyones choices are different, otherwise we would all go for the same person, had a look on the met office and its not looking good, i am usually a glass half full person but for some reason i really think its going to rain

You will probs at least get sunny patches, and you just need a few for the pics, most of the day is usually inside, I'll do a little sun dance for you over the next week ;)
Just try and relax, and remember it's not about the weather or the money spent. The best bit will be the mrs in her dress and the smile on her face, the rain can't ruin that.

Saw a wedding vintage bus park in a monsoon type downpour, they waited on it a while then some of the wedding guest guys appeared carrying a gazebo which they used as a giant umbrella over the bride, then each of the bridesmaids, like this http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/6510020/Trail/searchtext%3EGAZEBO.htm

Trust me you will forget all the stuff that you think is important now, and you will remember the little things. I cried the whole night before my wedding, I just wanted it to be over and to be married. Afterwards the best memories are the little things.

I am not too worried about the big day, I have had ALOT of input into the whole wedding compared to most blokes, I have printed all the invites, menus, order of services, table plans, made all the favours by hand, helped with virtually everything, and loved it,

so much so I am thinking of starting my own wedding invites business,
so in that sense I have got alot to look forward too

A wedding invite business? Is this wedding masking something hidden so deep in the closet even Aslan can't see?

surely you dont think the met office can predict the weather accurately 8 days in advance? They cant even get the next day right where I live. In fact its normally the complete opposite of the forecast.

Congrats in advance for the big day. Whatever happens weatherwise you can't control it, so forget it. When we were married it was super hot, and uncomfortable - so it can go both ways! Sound slike yo're going to have a fab time either way... just remember (and tell your bride to remember) to sit back and actually enjoy it. Hopefully it'll be the oNLY time you get to do this, so take time to take it all in, mine shot by in a puff stress and nerves, didn't enjoy it at all!!! Certainly glad I didn't spend anywhere near that kind of money though - my first house cost less!!!!!!!!!!

Woddle its usually nice when its your own project/party/wedding, you throw yourself int the work because it has a lot of meaning to it, to get by as a profession is very different. i am a designer by trade and the there is a lot of competition in the invite market, and to make money from it would be tough.
