got up this morning to discover that my house cat wasnt in the house, i have had her 4 yrs and shes never been outside, i was putting the bin out last night and can only assume that she must have ran out behind me. finally got her this morning but she was very dirty and smelly. vet didnt open till 9am so had to take my little girl to nursery but as i bumped up to the kerb my tyre burst ( can you believe this it was only 8.30 arggg). waited an hour for the father in law to come and change the tyre by then the vet was closed. went to the bank to get money out and it took the money from my account but never gave me anything omg. what a day .. my heartrate cant take anymore
can anyone beat this lol

it turned out no she wasnt hurt but she was all matted and was acting very strange, she has caalmed down now they also gave her a jag that cats get if they go outside (she didnt need this previously as she had never been out) hopefully lesson learned for us both lol

I've never understood why someone would keep a cat indoors.

Lol, so why could you not change the wheel yourself?

Why do you need to take the cat to the vets because it was dirty and smelly?

Did the vets only open for 30 minutes from 9am till 9.30am?

So why did you not just visit your bank and explain what happened? This happened to me about 6 months ago, I went to the bank and it was sorted within 30 minutes, they had it logged that the machine was faulty.

Sorry for picking up on your points, thought I would just make your day more frustrating, lol. :)O

(Forget tcat cat part, yeah they do need injections if they go outside, got 2 myself, God bless your cat, hope it settles back down.)

yeah you are

if you have never changed a wheel or seen it been done you wouldn't have a clue how to do it, easy now you see it n=being done

the vet only opens between certain points throughout the day and yeah 9 -9.30 then 11.30-12.00 4-6 just in case you wanted to know

yeah i did phone the bank ( not rich enough to let it by pass) however as it was clydesdale not rbs it could take up to 4 wks and they have to contact them then they check the machine balance and then they will get back to me

hope this answers all you questions

It does hun, and I am now glad you can change a wheel, first thing you should do if your a female driver, very easy but can be dangerous if you don't know how, a 10 minute job can be your worst nightmare.

Sorry for having a joke, I at first I was the only one replying to the trhread, thought I would do it for a laugh, but when it was posted there was something like, well 70 threads before me and another 70 after I refreshed, lol. :)

It would have been more cruel to leave it, it had been hit by a car and no way was it going to make it :-(

Hey on the note of running poor little animals over.

Can anyone confirm this?

In England a few years ago if you run over a dog by law you HAVE to stop and sort the situation out. But for a cat it was exempt.

Is this still the case?

If so I think that stinks as cats are very loving and caring animals with a great instinct towards us humans. To leave them injured in the road is an unjust!!!

Yes ur supposed to stop for a dog and report it to the police, but not a cat, totally unfair as they are living animals to :x

So are spiders. Do you think you should report it to the Police if you ran one over one of them as well?

Well you clearly have no idea what a cat is all about mate.

We also have to stop for all humans even though it's 50/50 as to which are vermin!!

My daughter has a cat that will not go out. He prefers to stay in her bedroom permanently even though she has tried to coax him out. Sometimes they just don't want to go out.......

Thought that the law had changed and cats had to be reported too. I'll have to check this now.

Poor you, sounds like a hell of a day, they say things happen in threes so hopefully you've got all your bad luck over in one day. The good news is that at least you got your cat back. I know the feeling, my dog got out a few weeks ago luckily someone picked him up and took him the RSPCA, cost us £60 to get him out but as you say you cant put a price on finding your pet when you think there lost was just glad someone picked him up and didnt keep him. Hope you have a nicer day tommorrow.
