thefootballshirt.com should be www.theThievingBarStuards.com!

I placed an order (for someone else), back in the middle of september for 5 football shirts.
Despite e-mailing these guys four times, i have heard nothing back from them.
A few people on here recommended them so i thought they'd be ok - big mistake.
I've left it so long as i thought there might be some sort of mix up due to the royal mail strikes we had but it's been nearly 3 months!!

Has anybody else had any problems with this compnay?
Would i still be able to try and get my money back through paypal and if so, how do i do it and is it an easy process?

I need to sort this out as i feel bad for the guy i ordered these for as i said the website was fine.
Rep for your help

you bought from a site which looks abysmal, has no contacttelephone number (no contact details others than a email address) and which only accepts paypal?

Are you surprised. Paypal will probably refund you if you haven't left it too late.

Just read this on the paypal website

You can open a dispute in the Resolution Centre to contact a seller directly and resolve a problematic transaction. You have 45 days from the payment date to open a dispute. Common reasons for opening a dispute include:

Does that mean ive lost all his money and got no chance of gwetting it back??

Well a few people on here recommended the site and had no problem with the items they ordered!

I've used them a while a go and things were fine , it took 4 weeks for the shirts to arrive but for what they are the shirts were brilliant. I have placed an order again 2 weeks ago and have not received anything but I will wait 10 days then file a claim with paypal. I thought you only had 45 days with paypal so I'm not sure if it's to late for the op to file a claim now. Best of luck anyway

Yep looks like it's only 45 days :(

Best of luck mate

From paypal:

We Have Registered Your Dispute

Thank you for registering your complaint about this transaction. Unfortunately, this type of transaction is not eligible for PayPal dispute resolution. We encourage you to continue to work directly with your seller, as we have found that many misunderstandings reach amicable solutions through communication

What the hell does that mean??

Sadly a lot of the stuff they send can get lost in the post, Perhaps customs checked the items and confiscated them due to being fake.

I've ordered from Bestway4you before and it only took 7 days for my shirt to arrive. They sell fake shirts as well.

I've read too that thefootballshirt.com are a reputable company, But I guess theirs going to be the odd problems, Just like Dealextreme.

When I ordered from Bestway4u I took into consideration that I wasn't guaranteed to receive my shirt.

Hence why I only bought one, Shame you bought 5 and unfortunately looks like you've left it too long to claim.

So i guess customs dont bother to contact you to say theyre keeping your stuff?
#11
How did you fund the payment , credit card or bank account ? If t was credit card you can file a chargeback with your card supplier

How annoying!! I would email them again and tell them you are reporting them to TS, Im not great with confrontation but I think thats what I would do.
Good Luck!!
#15
Yeh its really annoyig because i told my mate that the site was ok as people had bought off them with no problems (as has also been said in this thread).
I have just emailed them AGAIN but dont hold out much hope.
My mate doesnt earn much and the order came to just under £100 :(

I'm surprised people here recommended them - they fail even the most basic checks really..

Still hope you get your money/shirts in the end.

I know - Email as contact address - Just read there delivery policy and all that.. 2-4 week delivery...:w00t: and that paragraph could of been the work of my 10 year old little brother.

They trapped you with an aetheticlly pleasing page - but the details shout out phoney to me.

BEST OF LUCK GERRING YOUR HARD EARNED PENNIES BACK.

Does anyone know any other sites like Bestway4you that are good for fake shirts?

It means that sadly you won't be getting a refund. The only thing you can try is to try and sort something out with thefootballshirt.com

If you bought from a site that you knew sold counterfeit products, its a bit daft complaining that they are thieves is it not?
#21
Strange ordered from them before, my mates complaining about them recently thought it was one off they must of been caught out somewhere.

Adam, out of interest - and my interest is genuine - why did you order from such a dodgy looking site?

I wanna know who recommended this site in the first place really with zero contact details

I ordered from them in october and they came by the end of october

At the cost of £20 per shirt, its pretty darned expensive for a snide...... particularly when it comes from China and could (a) go missing or (b) might be crap and cost you more in the end to send it back than if you'd bought the real thing!

At the time of order, it did have contact details, and they had an ebay shop I believe.

Nothing looked out of place and a member on here had used them no problems. Not quite sure who it was.

I still don't believe this were fakes, I actually think they were rejects from the chinese factories that produce these shirts for the clubs, mine had a couple of miss stitches on the shirt.

I have decided to not take any chances with my order and have started a dispute in paypal . It says i now have 20 days to escalate this to a full dispute but i will wait another week to see if they respond or the shirts arrive
#27
Can you believe it all 3 of my shirts have arrived today and in great condition .

I will have to close the claim i have with paypal now
#28
I ordered from these a few months back, took about 12 days to arrive.

The shirts may be £20 a pop, but they are fantastic copies (not cheap fake crap) - they are literally identical to the real thing (includes Name, number & badges for the £20)

Yes i have to agree , i've never been 100% decided if they are fakes or not . They are perfect i had 3 with custom names and numbers for under £50 so less than £20 each delivered

Best of luck buddy , i think you may have left it too late though .

If they would answer your emails would be more helpfull as they send the shirts tracked , i had to sign for mine this morning
#31
Think it was maybe me that recommmended them a couple of times. I have used them three times myself and my mate has used them and not had one problem. In fact he refunded one of the shirts simply because one of the letters wasnt ironed on properly.

Keep on at them sometimes I get a quick resonse other times its slower.
#32
I will keep trying but don't know why theyre not responding if a lot of other people have had success with them?
The order was nearly £100 so maybe that's why?
