Seems like many people need an english lesson on the differences:

There: Used as "That person is over there; There it is"
Their: When denoting something is owned by someone. "Their car broke down"
They're: Shortened version of They Are. "They're not what you were after"

"Their car broke down over there and they're not very happy about it"

....!

I dont think it really matters as long as you know what the person is trying to say. This is supposed to be a place to relax! I only think that it is important when writing letters etc, not so much on a forum (although I generally write it correctly, it doesnt bother me when other people dont)

What's next, where we should place our punctuation and not speak in a shorter format and make sure we start every new sentence with a capital lol

lol, yep, I try not to use it, Im forever texting, it can't be good for the brain, I have found myself writing '2' in exams and stuff.

sorry, just one of those little things in life that really annoys. Bad grammar. Especially the incorrect use of apostrophes and using them on plurals when they're not needed.
Why don't we expand this - everyone write in and have a good old moan about those things that really grate on you.....!!:idea:

Im the same, its a forum for people of all different ages, you cant let a few shortened words or spelling mistakes wind you up (im a terrible speller)
