What seems to be athletes foot ( a raised white 'dry' skin area on my big toe, that is slightly irritant.) Its not an open wound just a big dry and flakey (nice i know).

Best to get to the GP or just go straight for an over the counter?

No need for gp. I think your pharmacist could diagnose and advise on this. Some Boots have consulting rooms.

Use Lamasil Once.
Nothing else works as well.

I know this will gross you out over breakfast but one of the best solutions is to pee on your feet in the shower. The amonia in the wee is fantastic for killing the virus of athletes foot.

Always wash your feet, just a little drop or two of tea tree oil.
Dry them WELL also in between the toes.
Only wear 100% cotten socks, these let your feet air.
Buy proper Athletes foot power, only use a little, too much is bad.

Loll1es is crorrect pee in the shower is REALLY good (like he/she said...!)

My chiropodist advised me to use Tea Tree or Lamisil (going to get lamisil). Appararently it's the business.
