This is not a slating but a genuine enquiry....

I am in my thirties, been married, and have now been single coming up for 5 years, and to be honest I am quite happy being single (now) I do admit to occaisionally craving male company, but on the whole very settled into my life.
Anyways...It has been my experience, in real life and on the net that every man that has flirted with me, chatted me up or had an "encounter" with me, that seems decent at the time, after some research or detective work, they are married or living with a partner. So what I want to know is:-
1) Are there Brittish men who are faithful to their partners and if so what kind of percentage?
2) Are the men over thirty who are single the ones who have been left over because they can't handle monogomy and /or not worthy of my affection?
I know this may sound is if Im slating guys, Im totally not, just wondering what is REALLY going on out there!

There are plenty of men out there that feel the same way as you... ie every woman over 30 who isn't married is a psycho or weird! It's just a matter of meeting the right person and you always find them when you're not looking!
#2
been with my partner 6 years and 100% faithful all the way
#3
married 24 years and never even thought about cheating! so we do exist

Tis a slight generalisation. I'm in my 30's (I'm 30), single and genuinely monogamous
#6
been with my 360 for nearly 4 years now and I've never even held a ps3 joypad let alone play with one.

Well I aint looking but the ones who look me out do seem to be this way and other female friends find the same. Or is it just the human race that now find it hard to be faithful?

Yes lots,all of my male mates(including me)are

2) Are the men over thirty who are single the ones who have been left over because they can't handle monogomy and /or not worthy of my affection?

no,just haven't met the right person yet

None of it is worth worrying about, the one thing guaranteed to put a man off is if a woman is desperate for a bloke

I don't remember chatting you up....so at least 1 man hasnt
yes, im the right age too!

cannot stand people who are unfaithful myself, and have never been, and have ended 2 relationships immediately because of it
you can also take flirting as being friendly, its a line people disagree on
#17
I suppose what Im trying to do is compare my thoughts and belief mechanisms with others as what Im experiencing is very different to what i hold dear. It makes me wonder has society toatally changed in this respect or are these values still upheld by the masses or the few.
#18
never cheated on anyone been with my wife for 10 years now but if this ever failed 'd be a man ****

You sound like hard work tbh.

I dunno if it is times have changed, or as we age our values change, and read things differently
people have always been unfaithful (wasnt the 60's all about free love?)
I guess its a matter of finding someone who finds the core values as important as you do?

at any age, it is never easy to be single or find anyone worth being with, being with someone you dont like sure isnt better than being single.

TBH I think cheating on spouses is as common as it's ever been, it's as old as the hills, it's just easier and more known about due to internet, mobiles etc and all that comes with it.

I think it's all relative and it's women just as much as men. I have cheated in the past, don't know why just did, wouldn't cheat on my hubby though as he is the "one". My hubby has never cheated on people and I would say his views are deemed quite old fashioned for his age, he's not, just polite and respectful.

But I know what you mean, any bloke that has ever contacted me on the net, here included have been married men after sex basically.

May I ask, are you British?

I think the whole chatting up/flirting thing is a problem - it takes people down a certain road and too quickly . getting to know people in a more honest ,natural way is far healthier i`e always found . you can find someone attractive because of their personality/ sense of humour that you may not have ever thought of flirting with , because it is a clearer measure of who they are without the games being involved. their attractiveness comes from within then. its real.and not a mask .

HUKD is not the best place to get a balanced view as 90% of the men on here are that desperate than any woman who posts her pic on here gets loads of smutty comments and PM's....even if she looks like a bulldog chewing a wasp

This is not solely based on men but obviously my experience is of man, but I can only speak of my experiences of being single and in my thirties in the U.K. if you catch my drift:)
