Thorntons - Best Time To Buy Chocolates For Valentines Day?

Was going to get a personalised box of Chocolates (£14.50 for a 22-character message ain't *that* bad), add delivery (which i suppose is the £5.95 option for Valentines-Day delivery...

ATM I have a 15% off code with no minimum spend - do you reckon prices will go up? Any new discounts going to come out?

What i'm trying to ask is - whens the best time to buy?

Then don't go OTT ... your only 16.

She should appreciate the smaller things. I'd buy her a single Rose, a box of simple but caring choccys and maybe ... cook the meal?! She'd appreciate it more... :)

Roses are so stupidly expensive for Valentine's Day that it's just not worth buying them. They're not even that pretty. Maybe you could get her another bunch of flowers? You will get more for your money and they will look better and smell nicer anyway!

And I agree with cooking the meal yourself if you can. It shows that you really want to make a special effort. Even if you're not so hot on cooking there are some easy recipes that are really impressive - lasagne always comes out nice!

Also, do you not have a Thornton's you could go to? That would save on P+P.

I've looked on their website but it seems you can't buy a personalised gift and then pick it up instore - would i be wrong or could i just go to the shop and order it?

buy her a bouquet if you have to do flowers, thats if she likes flowers of course, if she doesnt really like flowers then you best get your thinking cap on, theres nothing worse than a chappy who looks for an easy option;-)

In store there is a promotion currently running whereby if you spend £15 or more on anything Thorntons you can choose from 3 different boxes of chocolates worth £3.35, £3.25 and £3.99. The £3.99 box is pink with a black bow so would do for Valentines.
