Three Recommend a friend and get £30 each

I just made an easy £60 by recommending 3 to my mum and sister. I was going to do it anyway as it makes sense for the family to utilise the unlimited 3 to 3 minutes but saw 3 are offering rewards for signing up your mates. I called 0800 358 4201 gave them the details and hey presto, I've just received the credit. Even better, whoever you recommend gets £30 credit too! Just working out how I can pay my whole yearly bill.

i couldnt bring myself to recommend anyone to this company. total crap. not voting either way cos i dont want to be "that guy" but i just dont like the idea of anyone thinking this is a good phone provider.

You have made a big mistake bro. They are now stuck with worst mobile company for next 18 or 24 months. I feel sorry for them.

Your mother brought youi into the world and nursed you when you were ill

How could you do such a sick thing to her

Reminds me of a story around this time of year about the 30 pieces of silver

worst company? surely you mean one of the best networks, they have the lowest prices in the UK and the best 3g coverage of any UK network, backed up by orange who has the best 2g coverage.

Is it three's fault some of you live in a cave or down a hole?

But don't let the FACTS get in the way of a bit of 3 bashing.

tbh i'd be with you there. I used to be with them a real while back, and they were crap.

but, qi've been on o2 for the best part of a year, orange before that.

Went onto 3 last month and theres places on both where on o2/orange I wouldnt even get a GSM signal (that i'm at often). But with 3 I gladly get a speedy 3G signal.

I'm only on a rolling contract(30day) so if anything goes wrong i'm out.

But for now, they're the best network i've been on in a long time.

I'm with 3 and think they're great! They've improved vastly over the past year or so.

Live in a cave or down a hole lol?

Not quite but speaking from my wife's experience of living with 3 for 2 contracts over 30 months with more than 2 phones in Britain's 2nd city so not exactly "in a cave".

But if it was Wolverhampton i'd have probably agreed. ;-)

Been with three now for 5 years and never had one single problem and always get great deals when my contract is coming to an end.

im not talking about coverage im talking about customer service, handset choice etc. they are just a TERRIBLE company. everyone is going to call me a racist but i honestly couldnt understand anyone who works in the contact centres and they couldnt understand me either so when my phone was bust (15 months out of the 18 month contract) calling them to sort it out became a MASSIVE headache. and then to top it all they didnt have a complaints team at all so there was no one to complain to.
