If you are with Tiscali who are now changing to talk talk, you can receive a £20 gift certificate when you upgrade to one of their packages.

I am on the £14.99 a month tiscali broadband package, and was sent a letter that said by the beginning of february this package will change to align with the new talktalk packages, which would make it something like £18.48. It will be upgraded anyway even if you dont choose to do so as talktalk need to align it with their packages, so I called and decided to upgrade to the £18.48 a month package, before they change it themselves as you get a free £20 amazon gift certificate by doing so. It says on the letter it will be emailed to you within 3-5 working days, but on the phone the person I spoke to said they will post it, so I asked if it could be emailed and they did email it and I received the code today, I made the call on tuesday so it only took 2 days.

Surely if you sign up yourself, you commit yourself to a new long term contract where as If you allow them to align you with equivalent talk talk package you won't be. Not really worth £20 considering the deals available + the cashback via quidco, tcb etc

i'm with tiscali and had the letter saying welcome to talktalk, etc. it didn't say anything about any price rises. hope they're not going to raise the price without informing me!

true, was planning on staying with them anyway, and just upgraded to the equivalent talktalk package they was gonna align me with. I dont know of any other broadband packages that are less than £15-£20. But yeah your right about the long term contract

You should take a look at their packages online and see if any are same price as what you have now, as all old tiscali ones have to be aligned with theirs, I see that I'm getting the talktalk essentials package which will be £18.48 ...and is their cheapest.

i see why it's so expensive, it's because it includes line rental. my land line rental is through BT and my broadband and calls are tiscali (or talk talk) so i'm assuming mines not going to go up as like i said my line rental has/ is with BT

Oh okay, yeah before we had the free line rental with tiscali, so its around a £3.50 increase for me.
