Hi after having my hair kept short for aslong as i can remember i thought that i would give it a go and see what it would look like spikey, it turned out allrite. The problem is that i cant seem to make it as spikey as the barber did in the shop, he used american crew pomade and i bought a tub of it but it just doesnt seem to hold. I do no why it isnt holding when i am doing it but im going to try something stronger, so does any one use either fudge fat hed or american crew fibre? or should i just get both?

thanks, i tried vo5 shock something but that made my hair really hard and diddnt really like it. I used to use brylcream when i had dry scalp but thats far too light to make it have any affect on my hair. think im going to try both of them as i found a £10 off voucher.

@ scrooge does the hair shaper make it appear as if you would touch your hair after applying it you could break it? if it is i think that fudge fat hed may be better

thanks everyone

with short hair gel is best, when it gets a bit longer you'll want some waxxy stuff.

I now use this; ***** Pretty good, the smell is beautiful.

I'm not gay just know my stuff;p

No, hair shaper doesn't leave it looking like it will shatter!

You can get it online from Boots now, as well as from mankind, hairtrader etc
Although I get it bit cheaper off ebay from tops-hair-salon now, they seem to sell a good range and original too. I've seen some ebay sellers selling fudge stuff in containers that look nothing like the usual fudge style so beware!

i use what ever the supermarket has on buy one get one free, it is usually wax or hair putty.
i used to use a wax stick from my hair salon which was £10 but i find any of that stuff works.

you should use what Cameron Diaz used for the film, "something about Mary".

I have very weird hair, none of the "concrete hold" gels work on my hair at all. I use Vo5 extreme hold clay which is about £3 a pot and works ok, other than that the bets stuff i've use is the toni and guy stick wax and xclay. If that doesn't work then use PVA glue as toni and guy stuff is stong
