To Homecare or not to Homecare?
Hi,
I have a pretty old warm air heating system in my house and I was wondering what peoples thoughts of the Homecare package with British Gas were? I know I can get £40 quidco if i take it out but would I be better off just having it serviced by a corgi registered engineer?
I'd ideally like central heating but cant' afford it...

Check out local plumbing costs too. Last one I called out charged £45 per half hour + parts + VAT...
yes they do, refused me on a 20 yr old boiler that worked perfectly
now I have a new heating system and get my Corgi mates to check it for free :)
Fed up with the service so went to hydro board instead... But, when they examined the boiler they wouldnt cover it as it has too many problems!!!!
This is a 5 yr old boiler that was fitted by... Scottish Gas!, so needs must and Im back with them cos at leat they cant argue that the boiler is pants as it was them that reccommended it!
Wouldnt use homecare if I didnt have to though, have a look at Scottish Gas, they are cheaper and probably better!
