The ride could cause long delays for drivers in and around the city as it makes its way along Middleton Boulevard, Derby Road and onto Crown Island.
The return route travels back to Wollaton Hall along Derby Road to Crown Island and then around Crown Island onto Wollaton Road.

"The procession will happen on Sunday, October 2. The planned start time is 9am, and they estimate a one-hour travel time in each direction."

All that lovely countryside and they would rather walk on the road....

There are no planned road blocks so if you are looking at travelling to nottingham try and avoid the hours they plan to protest as there will be chaos and backups.

"The Make It Law campaign aims to raise awareness to drivers about the dangers of driving too quickly or loudly around horses, which can be easily spooked"

And yet if you lost control of your car/bike then you'd be accused of not being in full control of your vehicle.

Horses and riders should have to undertake a riding licence before being allowed on the road; far too many dangerous noobs which will result in your prosecution when they hurt themselves. Insurance should also be mandatory.

Did you miss the plot?

Did you actually understand the reason why they are protesting legally?

Every road user has the right to use the roads whether it's motorised, a cyclist or horse yet some numpties in motorised vehicles think it's OK to not follow the Highway Code

Think they're 3 different breeds.!.

They better not churn up the grass at Wollaton Hall after all the rain.

Well I think they have already highlighted the issue, horses are too slow. 1 hour each way! I can walk back drunk at 4am quicker!

Done that a few times when I was younger ;)
A night in the town ending up at the Palais or the Cuba Libre (or whatever it was called - down Hurt's Yard) or that one at the side of the Council House then getting kebab meat n chips at that greasy place on Glasshouse Street then heading home (either Clifton or Netherfield depending on where I lived at the time.

Can't remember if it was because I was skint after the night out or too tight to pay for taxis ;)

I think they should ban all cars, lorries and buses from the roads. Be fun watching them scurry to work out ways to screw the other road users out of their cash.

I'll have the one in the middle. Deeky and Phil can fight over the other two! :D

I have a better idea.

Keep the roads for vehicles.

Besides, roadkill of this size could keep a family eating for quite a few days.

That leaves both for Deeky
I took a vow of celibacy and been abstinent for more than 5 years (except my best friend ((five knuckle shuffle) and with being ambidextrous I have a choice)) ;)

I have a much simpler idea - enforce the Highway Code and those that abuse it send them to prison for a minimum of 1 year and that way our roads will be much safer for everyone
