Too good to be true Vodafone deal???

Had a call from someone who said they were from Vodafone last night and they offered my wife 500 minutes & 100 texts together with a Samsung F480 Tocco or SE C902 for £15 per month.

She was with Vodafone until this time last year so the call could be genuine but in store or on their website you can't get either of these phones unless you go for a £25 or £30 per month contract.

Anyone else had a similar offer?
What can I do to protect myself if I want to go ahead?

& also which phone would you go for? (head says SE, heart Samsung)

Give them a ring and that way you'll know that they were genuine. They are doing good offers at the mo though if you give them a ring - especially if you tell them you're leaving them. We've just got 600 mins & unlimited texts for £12.50 pm (no handset though).

also check how long contact is , if they tell you less than 18 monhs 99% chance they are lying as you cant get 1 year contracts now.
Lots of people being told 6 montsh or 1 year contracts when in fact they not getting that , they can pull out at 6 months or year if they have the insurance and usually for a small fee but the sellers arent always forth coming about all this

What a load of nonsense.
Just go to Vodafones Website - 12, 16 and 24 months -clear as you like!
Sure, to grab a decent phone you need to up the minutes/txts or contract but that isn't what you stated.
