not good but long as its well cleaned the cut it should be fine. Them gloves that are slice proof would be ideal for you :P bouncers/riot police wear them.
standing on glass is worse i think from personal experience.
i think i am immume to any pain of a cut as i dont get phased by them as i have alot of different ones of shapes and sizes in different places over my body.

I cut my wedding ring finger on Saturday morning by slicing a bagel with a large sharp bread knife, the shock made me blackout (I had only just woke up without any breakfast inside me!) when I came round I found myself in the living room with 3 large pools of blood all over the wooden floor. God only knows what I was doing when I blacked-out! I'm lucky I was only out for a few minutes!

school boy error, seen this happen to sooo many people, in future just tap the glass against the side of a sink, 99% of the time the glass will simply drop out but now and again it won't in which case just bin it

7 years behind a bar...never cut my finger once

tis a great job to do though if you like it...if its not for you, you'll know pretty quick.

Tip...if you cant already learnt to catch, looks flashy if you through mixers in the air rather than look like your doing a visual display of how to spank the monkey. You'll get a lot of Tom Cruise jokes though, just ignore it. Biggest tip for working behind a bar is continually look at the people at the bar and visualise their priority. Its the difference between a person working behind a bar and a barman
