Just wondering if anyone has heard of this happening, the bottom row of my teeth, the 2 in the centre seem to be overlapping my gums so they look like really long teeth compared to the rest of them, anyone know what it is?

Sounds as if your gums are receeding! ... Do you smoke? as this can be a cause of this ...
You could have gum disease ?

This is where the saying comes from ''Long in the tooth'' it can happen with age..

I think Esther Ranson had this - you could try childline for treatment advice. Alternatively Janet Street Porter thinks it looks cool so try her for counselling.
You could also give Gordon Ramsay a call and I'm sure he'll have advice.?
Don't ask Jonathan Ross - he has enough troubles of his own, and Amy Winehouse has funny teeth but she is meantime out of her face so will not be in touch with her teeth.

Hope that helps

And the saying "Long in the dick" - that comes from? Ask Minstrel Man before he wets himself

I fail to see a link there.

why does it say "dick to add your avatar" above my name? I have one of these so should I get a free avatar or something like that? This is a site for free things right?

can i just ask on a serious note, are you ok eating still with this problem? after a long and rewarding career in the orthodontic supply industry i have come across such problems and occasionally on the more severe cases the patient has had difficulty eating in a normal regular manner, have you noticed anything untoward at mealtimes, or do you now use a nosebag hahaha

I can think of nothing worse than making light of a problem which someone has confided in HUKD and asked for advice or information. The mockery and humiliation being suffered by Odriscoll as a result of misplaced comments masquerading as humorous advice make me ashamed to be part of this community.
Odriscoll - please see this link and if your problem looks like any of these, http://images.google.co.uk/images?hl=en&q=horse+teeth&um=1&ie=UTF-8&sa=X&oi=image_result_group&resnum=1&ct=title,
I will be happy to give further advice.
