They are trying a bit too hard nowadays, with the innuendo's and the "controversial" comments.

The Tesla roadster looked good for a toy car though! lol

yeah the wizard sleeve stuff and pork sword come on try explaining that to baffled kids

Bit lame tonight, big fan tho.

Agreed the Tesla suprised me somewhat.

Fast as a 911 GT3 round the track, not bad for an electric car.

£92,000 wow:

Fairly impressed with an alleged 150 - 200 miles range if not thrashed . . . . . .

We'll all be driving our laptops to work soon! :-D

Yes the arsing around is great, but they seem to be trying to too hard to be OTT

Personally can't stand him or Hammond...... The posh plonker is the best of the lot of them!
#10
agreed tonight is a bit lame... however i would imagine the budget is a little tight at the minute... and it would appear that fifth gear still hold the record for longest distance travelled by a car towing a caravan whilst jumping over a huge stack of cars... lol

Yeah, more of the "challenges" and less of piano's dropping on MOT failures . . . . .

Now if they dropped the Piano on Clarkson that would make good viewing!

The budget isn't tight, its prob cost more to buy the piano, MG, jag, caravan, stack of scrap to jump over etc. than to send them to the Isle of man in an Audi R8 and a Nissan GTR. Mmmmmm . . . .

The last episode in the series should be good. On Tuesday 30th December:

Top Gear ends the current series in epic style as Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May travel to Vietnam. Their aim is to travel the entire length of the country in just eight days, thereby achieving what the American military failed to do in 10 years.

However, first they must each buy some suitable transport for the trip and, despite having several million Dong in their pockets, this proves to be of rather less value than they originally thought, especially in one of the most expensive car markets in the world.

Nonetheless, the boys are resourceful and, with their wheels finally sorted, they set off on one of the most spectacular and incredible Top Gear road trips ever attempted.

Ha, its a flattering look! I'm still not impressed with him. I'm a cock apparently. I got rid of a ruddy BMW when i was a cock in that and got an Audi, now i'm a cock again! You can't win!

Top Gear is in the top 5 of all tv shows currently on.

Nuff said.
#25
I know, its a sad indication of TV

I think the concept is great and it is well produced....just can't stand the plonkers that present it!
#26
What about Jay Leno's collection.

Paid too much me thinks.

That Clarity looks good for the future.

Isnt the last episode or the top gear special on the 28th???

And the Honda Clarity looks good!! only if it was available here in the UK and at a reasonable price, I would definitely buy one!! The future is H2O powered cars!! :)

The separation of Hydrogen is fairly energy intensive, I wonder how "green" the production of Hydrogen actually is?

True... didnt think of that, but atleast we will know that the only thing coming out of the cars exhaust will be H2O!

I think it will be another 3-5 years before we see these cars in production for the UK market.

Isn't there a problem with a reliable secure fuel tank for the compressed hydrogen? Its a pretty dangerous compressed gas to be sat upon! lol
