Just feel a need a change from quidco, as I seem to be spending lots of time raising enquiries/tickets for things that haven't tracked/validated.

Thanks.

I find I have to make a lot of queries with quidco too :(
I personally prefer topcashback. although the service is very similar/same for both TCB has no annual fee and i have not had to raise a single query yet. :)

Topcashback is more reliable with tracking and has a few extra retailers.

Have made about £500 with Quidco and about £100 with TCB, never really encounted major problems with either yet,

Just recently Quidco have seem to come up with some strange ways to claim your entitlement; like wait 75 days then raise an enquiry! I'm beginning to lose faith in their committment to their orginal ethos; seem more hardnosed than 'lets make a difference for the better'.

My car insurance has been stuck on tracked for 7 (£100) month now, quidco can bite me when all my renewals come up.

I know what you mean, in similiar situation with O2 simm, that's why I asked the question on this thread. It was okay with the small amounts didn't get paid even though they tracked, but it all mounts up, especially when the big amounts take so long or don't get paid.

Thanks for comments.

I'm waiting £100 for an o2 SIM too... Was the main reason I went for it because of the cashback!

i use both, but predominantly tcb as they seem to have less problems

quidco thread http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=1950575&page=25

remember it's not quidco that pay though, it's the merchant, who pays the affiliate, who pay quidco, who then pay you

I have never had a problem with quidco tracking, i find it's either down to insurance or large cashback that take a while (so called fraud checks from the merchants / affiliates). I have had a few £100 cashback pay on time.

Personally Ive never had problems with quidco.

Thanks for the link Fae :) x

Those mse lot like complaining :w00t:

Some want to sue quidco for not paying out, but quidco have told them the merchant hasn't paid them

funny old lot, them :whistling:

Sue quidco? On what grounds??? Like I said I'm moving to TCB when all my renewals come but threatning to sue on something that isn't guarenteed is stupid.

Hi,

It's Jules here from Quidco. I am the Community Support Manager and I will have a presence on this forum from now on.

I am sorry to hear of the problems some of you are having.

I think that maybe some of you are referring to the longer validation some insurance companies are putting in. These are due to ever-more lengthy and detailed checks having to be carried out by their affiliate networks to ensure that purchases are valid. This type of product is likely to be abused and we do support the work being done to minimise this as it will ultimately ensure that the good deals keep on coming for our members.

As regards MORE TH>N, the delays are a result of processing issues within their affiliate network and they are being addressed. This is an industry-wide problem and all parties are taking it very seriously as it is important that it is resolved as quickly as possible.

If any of you have any general queries I will be happy to answer them. For specific transaction queries, we have recently made a large number of improvements to out ticketing system and we are working within a 24 hour turnaround.

I will be on here on a regular basis.

Kind regards
Jules

seems like im only one of a few who prefer quidco to TCB. This is because both of my transactions through TCB did not track and i am still waiting for it to be looked at.

Where as i have used quidco hundreds of times, of where i have had to raise three tickets (for transatcions which all did not track). All were successful and i did get my money in the end.

Sounds like you've frightened off Jules as well now. If Karen from Quidco was about to make her appearance, she prolly do it when you're on your hols, away from HUKD :w00t:

Hi,

As I say, I am here to answer questions if you want me to. Sorry - not sure if there is a history on here I should know about! If so, fill me in!

Carol left Quidco a few months ago. I am Quidco's Community Support Manager. I started in April but it's the first time I've been on here.

I'll keep a low profile, though, unless asked to address specific issues by you guys on here.

Kind regards

It's a good idea to have a resident Quidco eye out I think.

Well done Quidco for that x

Well welcome to you.

OP - I use both and have similar experiences with both, so I tend to use quidco for same % cash-back and either (which ever has the higher cashback) if there is a difference.
TCB has some retailers I use which aren't on quidco.

i use about 5 different ones depending who pays the most. No fee with most so I would say quidco is the worst if you have low usage as they charge you £5 every year!

best cashback per store checker

I'm thinking about stopping using Quidco and using only TCB, just because the cashback amounts always seem to be the same and they dont have a £5 fee.

IF QUIDCO GOT RID OF THE £5 THING (hint hint), then i'd prefer to use them.

Nope. Never used it before, hadn't even seen it before the post on here. And I'm not an active member over there.

Just looked at Swinton, as that's this last thing I used quidco for.;-)
