I am looking to get a new lcd tv and have narrowed it down to these two, they seem to be nearly exact specs except for the tosibas 2 hdmi inputs which i am not too fussed about.

Which one would you go for or are there any better deals out there?

Thanks:)

I have the 32WLT66 so if you want to ask anything...

Don't know about the other LCD. I chose it based on price and a few reviews i had heard. Got it for £600 in November. Have also purchased the additional sub.

Pleased: 8/10
Use: Xbox 360 90% of the time. Digital TV other time.
£600 for LCD, £70 for Sub, SW1000 £70 delivered from ebay.

Needs to handle a PC input a bit better and ive had an issue with mine but Toshiba swaped it onsite within 48 hours. So thats good!

They're both great sets, probably the two I would be looking at in the 32" range. I prefer the aesthetics of the Samsung, though I can imagine you'd be dusting that glossy black finish all the time! The 2 HDMI inputs of the Toshiba would always draw me in its direction though, it's almost certain you'll end up needing more than 1 eventually.

Yeah, its a toughy.

I think i actually prefer the look of the toshiba, as the samsungs shinnyness kind of detracts from the screen.

Does anyone know if there have been any problems or ticks with either model?

I have the 32wlt66 and so do my parents. Both sets have been running the last 6 months without problems.

I too was considering the Samsung but decided I didn't like the plasticy finsih.

I think the 32wlt66 won the most awards and it does have excellent sound reproduction.

To be honest there is such little difference between the two it will be best to pop into your local store and compare the two for yourself...
