Hello, i recently bought the Toshiba 37XV635DB from Play.com for £550, intending on getting the £100 cashback from it.
however, not only did it take them 3 days to process my order, and 6 to deliver it (during which they gave me a tracking code showing it had been shipper from worchester to bolton before it arrived in leeds).
And now i finally have my TV, there was no invoice with it, despite the delivery guy assuring me it was in the box. So now i have no invoice to send off to get my cashback with. i have spoken to 7 people from play.com from their indian call centre, with varying responses from we cant issue another invoice, to it must be in the box to we can email you a copy of it even though it wont be accepted by toshiba. Included in my 7 calls were 2 people who put the phone down on me after 31 and 15 minute long calls. multiple people who told me managers weren't available, and multiple manager who told me there was nothing they could do.
I was going to order the TV from Co-Op for £560 as they offered next day delivery but i figured i could wait to get it from play and save that tenner. how i regret that.
having used play.com for years, i have never experienced such bad customer service, if only i had've just bought it from coop :(
