Apologies if this is posted in the wrong place .. I just wanted to make people aware of the issue.

Toys R Us have recalled a kids' rattle over fears that tots could choke on it.

In America there have already been reports of children 'gagging' on tiny orange beads spilling out when the rattle broke.

The Kids II Oball rattle features a chamber containing tiny orange beads.

The Toys r Us recall in Northern Ireland comes after the US Consumer Product Safety Commission found that the small disc that contains beads inside the rattle can break, causing the beads to escape.

The Commission said 42 people have reported that the disc has broken.

Alarmingly, the commission has also heard of 'two instances in which children had the beads in their mouths, and three instances of children gagging on the beads'.

The recall only affects rattles sold after January 1, with date codes T0486, T1456, T2316, T2856 and T3065, which can be found on the rattle.
'Consumers should immediately take these recalled rattles away from young children and contact the firm to receive a full refund.'

It is very worrying.. especially as there are probably plenty of parents and carers that may not be aware of it!
