Everytime norton scans for viruses i get a low risk tracking cookie detected but i press to fix it everytime and it still comes up again.
Should i be worried and should i get rid of it, if so how?

Thanks

These come up everytime you browse site and your virus scan will pick it up!! I always clear my cookies at the end of the night althought it deletes all the passwords pn forums and have to log in again!! You can clear cookies through internet options on your browser!!

to be honest, i would get rid of norton and replace it with something good - like avast, avg etc. etc.

I agree. I've never had any luck with Norton, always caused conflicts in Windows. AVG is good and its free.

I've always used Nortons in past but it run out so I asked on here and most people said AVG and cos its free and I'll never go back for now.

If you use Quidco maybe its from that? Cos that works with Cookies etc.

AdAware isn't an anti-virus program.

Cookies just let websites store information on your computer so they can identify you again, they're especially used to keep you logged into various things like HotUKDeals, forums, webmail and online banking sites.

They're not harmful, and norton definitely shouldn't be listing it as a virus.
