An Italian friend cooked me a lasagna over the weekend which was absolutely gorgeous, BUT..they will not part with the recipe!
Is there anyone out there who knows the recipe, or who can help please.
It was different to how I usually do a lasagna, as it contained small home made meatballs, thin slices pancetta, hard boiled egg, and some stewed steak..within the layers of pasta and tomato based sauce. It was also topped with a nice light smokey cheese!
Also, what is bests for lasagne - the dried sheets (egg or wheat) or fresh pasta sheets?
