These are paid in theory only. The train companies steal all the train delay and compensation for their own profit . Unless there is major disaster or cancellation they do not pay anything . If you go to ask for 30 minutes delay compensation , they refuse it on one pretext or the other.

I regularly travel on abellio greater anglia and they always pay out when you submit a delay repay form.

I wouldn't get your hopes up on this so many exclusions

I regularly travel on abellio greater anglia and they always pay out when you submit a delay repay form.
Same with my husband and daughter on that line , they have always received payouts, although I'm not sure if they are paid at 50%/100% , oddly they can put in for delays of the same time and receive different refunds.
